Both shows featured artists at their storytelling and performing bests. Fogerty opened with my fave Creedence song, Up Around The Bend. Messina covered my fave L&M tune, Be Free, mid-set.  
Thanksgiving is only two weeks away and I'm thinking about it everyday. My family together again!    As you may or may not know, I usually fry a turkey and grill 2 ducks (I'll send you the recipe if you'd like:). I'm thinking about changing things up a bit...like smoking one duck while I grill the other. What do you think?
When I was young there was a lovely character on the Howdy Doody show named Princess Summerfallwinterspring.
This past Monday - the first day in the office after leaving daylight savings time - I couldn’t figure out how the morning had passed so quickly until I realized that I hadn’t turned back the clock on my desk. I looked up from my work and saw that it was approaching noon, paused and finally realized that it was only eleven.
It is almost 25 years since Diana’s death and she remains a focus of so much attention. We have Netflix’s The Crown, a CNN Documentary Diana, the film Spencer(D’s maiden name)  about her family’s Christmas as the Princess. And, believe it or not, the Broadway Musical, Diana is about to open.   Diana was 19, when she wed a future King.  She won over England and then the world.
It is almost surreal to be planning an actual holiday in my house.  I bought the turkey last weekend.  Frankly, the turkey is the easiest part of the meal.  
We had the conversation several months ago over lunch.  Some of the women in the office mentioned how much they love their cashmere sweaters. I had responded that I never owned a cashmere sweater, essentially because I felt they were generally very expensive.  
Halloween and Election Day are old news now (well for most of us) and Thanksgiving Day approaches.  With that I often think about the day after
