Did you miss the Bagel Festival that was held in Brooklyn last weekend? I did not go but I heard all about it on the WNYC-93.9 show All of It. Bagel purveyors and lovers came out in droves to taste and decide which were the best.

Bill and I went to our local drugstore this weekend to get our annual flu shot. What a difference a pandemic makes.

Now this is a record worth mentioning especially since I cut the lawn at my house. A British man broke a Guinness World Record when he built a riding lawn mower that reaches a speed of 143.19 mph.
Admit it! You’re all Zoomed out and thirst for in person (Water Cooler) experiences. Well Gotham gets it and delivers! In the space of less than a month Gotham has held 3 in person (Water Cooler) events: the 9/11 Yankee/Met game at Citl Field, the 9/25 Picnic at Alley Pond Park and, best of all, our annual (except for last year) Bob Formica Memorial Golf Outing yesterday at Engineers Country Club in Roslyn.

I was hooked and every Sunday was a must watch. HBO subscriptions went through the roof. Talking about the episodes on Mondays with co workers, family, and friends became a routine. Even radio hosts took calls about the previous nights’ escapades and mysteries.
