Have you been on an airplane since March 2020? We flew to Florida over Labor Day weekend. Beside my usual flying anxiety (which has been discussed in many other blogs), I was additionally apprehensive due to all the news articles concerning unruly passengers and those that refused to wear masks. Our experience on both flights, however, was pleasant and enjoyable.
Gotham held a picnic in Queens, not the usual Long Island location. Last Spring tribal council prevailed on this commentator to arrange it. I targeted the Alley-Springfield portion of my fave Alley Pond Park because it included a good size parking lot, enjoyed a comfort station and plenty of ball fields.
We are definitely living in crazy times. Residents of a neighborhood in Jackson, Mississippi, are finding bowls of mashed potatoes on their cars, porches and mailboxes.
