We are planning my youngest daughter, Sydney’s wedding. It is such a different experience planning your child’s wedding, as opposed to planning your own.
Friday's blogger inspired this commentary so whatever I planned to chat about today awaits a new day.  With many people still shopping on-line, I want to suggest making use of a special feature available through Amazon and if one chooses to shop through fave charity or non-profit so-connected, your purchase also benefits those served.
You know how magnets can repel each other? And if you've ever tried to push them together it's very hard. The forces keeping them apart are very strong.   That's the essence of nuclear fusion. Forcing two particles together and using the energy from that reaction. Up until now it's taken more energy to create fusion than what you get out of it. In David Hare’s new play, “Straight Line Crazy”, Ralph Fiennes inhabits the role of the most important New York State visionary of the 20th century.  Heading up more than 20 state agencies in his run of over 40 years, Robert Moses was considered the most powerful man in New York.  He maintained that he was not an urban planner but a doer.
Over the course of a few days, LI Women had its first in person meeting since 2020 and Gotham had a fabulous cocktails evening in NYC to celebrate the holidays.   There is something in the air (although hopefully not COVD, the flu or RSV).
One of the nice things I enjoy as a parent involves sharing "my" music with my kids.  As I recently blogged, my daughter and I enjoy concerts together; sometimes her mom even joins us.  In what could be my last live show for 2022 (There's always hope for more.), we took Marisa to see (and experience) Hot Tuna at The Paramount in Huntington.
