I know I am “late to the game,” but I have just discovered podcasts.  I, sort of, accidentally listened o my first podcast on Saturday.
Last Tuesday I was in a bowling alley with Sparks (the group of learning disabled that I work with) and had the chance to observe several groups of 21 year olds. True GenZ's.
I lead off with a gush of good feelings and appreciation, engendered by our Tuesday night annual (Zoom) Holiday Party.
Congratulations to all of the honorees at the Gotham 2022 Holiday Party.I was riveted by Vince Chirico’s words.
HBO has a fascinating interview that features a great conversation and terrific performances. Bruce Springsteen and Howard Stern had a bit of a feud and this session was the first time the two had met.   Howard is able to delve into Bruce’s life with incisive questions.  Bruce is extremely honest about his relationships with his parents, family, and bandmates.  Bruce reveals that his father was both his greatest hero and greatest foe.  Howard relates that he had a similar relationship with his dad.
As a group, we’ve been blogging a lot lately about movies.  Rona has a movie studio in her basement.  During the pandemic, my family room became our Saturday night movie night space.
What, to you, makes a movie good or, even, great?   After Superstorm Sandy, my husband and I refurbished our downstairs den into a movie room. Ever since that time, once a month a group of friends come over, and we bring in dinner and enjoy a movie.
It’s that time again; people plan holiday parties.
