We have just finished our month long binge on the 134 episodes of the 2011-2019 law firm TV series Suits, which mostly appears on Netflix and, inexplicably, has its final season on Prime.
Apple Sauce has a special place for us. For years, Flo and I have been making apple sauce. It is expected that we will bring a fresh batch to family dinners and we wouldn’t dare visit our grandchildren in Washington and Alexandria without containers for all.There is something special about our apple sauce. It’s never the same.
One of the things I most look forward to within Gotham is the annual picnic and softball game, most recently being held at Alley Pond Park in Queens. Its’s a great way to bring friends and family to meet up with Gotham, get some fresh air and have an informal meal together. It’s where my son can bond a bit and enjoy some NY time which he dearly misses. It’s also one of the few times a year I can meet, in person. many city folks that would not normally commute to the outer boroughs (you know who you are).
I was reminded the other day how often my family just breaks into song.
We always have, and most often really ridiculous silly songs sometimes even made up – or, in the alternative a good old fashioned show tune.
When you really need to get some work done and you are in a time crunch what do you do to get it done? Before Covid, my answer to that question would have been, that I would come into the office very early-before the office phones started ringing-and get it done.
Could've wrote about about an anniversary yesterday but one might say it got "rained out" for real. But I alway expected this week would cover another musical event.
When do you get a haircut?
Well, I do when my hair starts resembling a fuzzy poodle or a misplaced tumbleweed.
I would guess I go every 6-8 weeks. But if I want to rock the wild marketing guy look, I let it ride a bit longer.
