Cayce’s blog from last week inspired me to this blog. While Cayce wrote about the challenges she faced turning her diet around into a healthier lifestyle, I had the opposite challenge. In preparation for a minor procedure I had (I am absolutely fine), my doctor requested that I flip my diet around. I was advised not to eat vegetables, fruits, whole wheat products or any products that contained seeds for five days; all of which make up the majority of my diet.
From the worldwide resources of Gotham comes this strange but true story.   An Austrailian man was arrested yesterday for choosing to put seat belts on his beer and not his children. Now there's a man with a clear priority.   The photo on the left shows the actual two cases of beer carefully protected by restraints. Photos of the children were unavailable but sources tell me they were jumping around the back seat yelling "drive faster."
It is a simple fact that for a network to work, be it electrical or social, it requires connections, be they mechanical or mental.  Gotham is a cornucopia of connections which hum day by day around the clock.   Of course, one of the secrets of success is to be a connector or go to guy or gal.
We were in Washington last weekend and visited a wonderful exhibit at the Renwick Gallery, a small gallery near the White House dedicated to the crafts.
