America, home of the free, because of the brave.
On Saturday, my husband and I celebrated our sixteenth wedding anniversary. I cannot believe how quickly the years have flown.
The occasion caused me to reflect on how we have been able to stay happily married for such a long period. As someone whose first marriage ended in divorce after seven years, sixteen years is quite the accomplishment.

Authorities in Indiana said an overturned semi truck spilled cases of beer across the lanes of of U.S. 50 in Dearborn County.
Thankfully no one was hurt but it seems that within 2 hours, the beer was gone.
I'm a first born and I never had a big brother. I suppose that's good and bad. In any case, I have negotiated and survived the ups and downs of life fairly well.
Little did I know that for quite a while I have had a Big Brother tagging along and watching over me!
Since who knows when, I have noticed unsolicited messages pop up on my iPhone screen, eg, "9 minutes to (my address)" or "15 minutes to the West End Cafe", where I intended to go.
It's time for another T-Shirt Blog.....
Have you considered discarding that old T shirt? Here’s something to think about.
