Well, at least for me.
I started listening to podcasts a little while ago. I found that it was a great way to enhance (and extend) my walks. And of course, they were a fun way to break in my new Air Pods.
As I write this blog, it is Sunday and I am listening to the weather reports predicting a major snow storm. I sit here and wonder, now that most of our work is done virtually, what will a snow day look like in a virtual world?
Last Thursday evening Gotham hosted a Zoom meeting with Ben's 91 years young Mom, Esther. I have heard her speak before and was looking foward to listening to her again.
Joanne and I are above the 65 year old threshold to qualify for an appointment to get The Shot.
We are on an appointment list and I’ve been on a vaccination appointment website twice too early in the morning to get on another list and I just called a special number to get on still another list. I even complained to the Mayor!
So, despite our better level headed instincts, we have been sucked into the vortex of the Vaccine Mania which is abroad in the land.
I overheard the conversation at the Long Island Women’s group meeting and it gave me food for thought.Does anyone remember when Wednesday was Prince Spaghetti Day?
Both my children learned a valuable lesson at a young age, at least I thought it was. As a woman in the business world, it was as important to me in a first impression as making sure your suit was pressed and shirt was clean.
Unfortunately, I was unable to watch the Inauguration ceremony live last Wednesday due to my participation in an on going trial (my experience in trying a case virtually is definitely fodder for another blog). When I finally arrived home late Wednesday evening, I could only watch recaps or read about the festivities.
