Recently, I’ve been studying the power of raw foods and their affects on the human body. The Cure for Arthritis, by S.H. Shepherd has me sharpening my understanding of how the human body works in relationship to food, water and a healthy sun shower.
Truthfully, it all started because I wanted the pain in my hip to go away, so I could gain 30 extra yards on my golf drive, thereby beating all the guys off the tee, and hustling money on the fairways. By the end of January, I had eliminated dairy, red meat and chicken.
If you know me at all, you know that I am not a football fan. Sure, I enjoy the experience – mostly the food and the company. I also enjoy the commercials. This year felt as if fewer commercials grabbed me -- but there were a few.
It happened again last night. I do not believe I will have to recount the details of what occurred after you read my questions. So here goes:
Toilet seat, up or down? Why? And what about the cover?
On the eve on Superbowl LV, I think how different watching the game will be. It’ll likely be more of solo affair unless Shelly and I dine watching the beginning of the game (well we already ordered our meals yesterday so C’est possible at this writing).
Is someone truly great if their path includes cheating or aligning themselves with people who do?
This question came up for me this morning when I was thinking about the Super Bowl and Tom Brady. He is often referred to as a G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time). His football acheivements are truly remarkable...6 Super Bowl rings and 10 appearances. No one even comes close let alone the dominance and longevity in a sport that lays waste to some great athletes.
I start this blog without any idea as to where it’s going or how it’s going to end...

One day last week I glanced over and the pile of books beside my night table called out to me.
Perhaps you've met Nelson Mishkin? Nelson and I met in 2004. He is one of those special people that was brought into my life at the right time, for something greater than I anticipated and has been in my life ever since.
