Next week at this time many will be preparing to watch and/or attend gatherings
Here's one to be filed under the "don't let your kids play with your phone" list.   Last Saturday night a Dad let his 6 year old son, use his cellphone to play a game before bed. But instead of playing a game, he used his father’s Grubhub account to order food from one restaurant after another totaling $1,000 worth of food. A virtual smorgasbord of food from several restaurants was dutifully delivered to his house.
I’ve had a cold for too long. Complication is that my doctor is a thousand miles away.   After exchanging a number of texts he suggested we have a “Telehealth visit”, so he could see me “face to face and make a plan of action.” And Telehealth visit we did and after a variety of questions and answers he even asked me to cough. It was an amazing virtual “hands on” experience and he then electronically prescribed medication for me at my nearby local pharmacy.   My “visit” was so efficient, reassuring and “real”!
237 Lafayette Street - an address that I will never forget. It is the address of the building on Lafayette Street between Spring and Prince streets in what is now the upscale neighborhood of SOHO (bordering on NOHO) in New York City.
Last week at the Gotham Happy Hour there was the usual catching up, general silliness and good conversation. We started talking about jobs we had in the past and some mused about professions other than their own that they might have chosen.
How do you feel about photos of yourself?  Amongst my friends (shhhhh, don’t tell anyone), I do not enjoy looking at pictures of myself and I never have.  However, that does not extend backwards to childhood photos.  I am actually kind of obsessed with those.
During the Gotham Long Island Women’s group meeting last week (which was phenomenal as always) Corey mentioned that he had just received a fax. Faxing is a concept that I have given a lot of thought to lately.
I usually discuss song playlists in blogs contemporaneously to an event the group of tunes relate with -- the holidays, new years, sweethearts days, some political events.  I recently viewed the playlists I posted to my website and YouTube and counted a dozen.  All of mirrored in my Apple Music.
