18....

In early March Gotham will reach the recognized good luck number of 18 years in age.

The time has zoomed by as we have had so much fun in the exercise of our giving spirit which has boomerangedback with ample psychic compensation.

Back in 1997 Nancy and I had a notion, but no plan and nary an expectation of what was to come.

Fellow pioneers: 1) Susan Sajiun-Fitzharris, 2) Alan Klein and 3) Jeff Lewis and all our other members have helped us along on our magic carpet ride (the numbers are their Gotham seniority numbers).

Another pioneer was dearly departed Bob Formica who was our Networker of the Decade in 2007.  In two years we will be recognizing our Networker of our Second Decade and that could be you.

For now, let's enjoy our Lucky 18th year!  Thanks for the memories and what is to come.

In China the number 18 is associated with someone who is going to have great success and prosper! In the Hebrew system of the numerical value of words, the Hebrew word for life (chai) has the value of 18. This makes 18 a favorable number as it indicates hopes of a long life. This shall definitely be a good year for Gotham.

18 is the numerological equivalent of life in Hebrew also know as Chai -

So move over (at least a bit) "March Madness" since the month that start starts this weekend (Sunday for anyone with heads in the sand "calendarically challenged") officially gets christened, "Gotham Marches Forward" month.

Is that not A Good Feelin' To Know.

So starting Sunday, or even the moment you read this, whichever comes first, or just your pleasure, we get to cry out, "I'm Eight-teen"

Congratulations (a bit early) on 18 amazing years! I'm so glad to be part of Gotham.

Sorry I missed the first 10, but so glad to be a part of the tribe now.

Here's something about 18:
The Numerology Number 18 Essence

The numerology essence of the number 18 has to do with humanitarianism, independence, and building something of lasting benefit.

The meaning of a number in a numerology chart is derived from its essence. The position in the chart determines how the essence is translated to obtain the meaning.

If the number 18 is in the heart's desire position of the chart, it means the person desires peace and happiness for humanity and wants to do whatever they can to accomplish that vision. On the other hand, if the number 18 is in the life path position, it means the person is likely to experience events and circumstances with opportunity to do something significant for the benefit of humanity.

That about sums it up.

Well then it's most appropriate that the first meeting of Gotham in March will be Making a Difference - after all Gotham has made a difference in many people's lives for 18 years now! L'Chaim!

Not a year yet with Gotham, I'm proud to be part of the Tribe. 18 years is a milestone, the members and its leadership is what makes Gotham so special.
Alan Klein

I have enjoyed being part of it from it's birth and watching it become what it is today. Looking forward to seeing it continue to grow for many years to come.
