Sometimes life is a struggle. We are presented with issues that require us to think about, fix, and move on, yet encounter more issues. Or our technology is not working correctly, which prohibits you from doing anything.

It's been one of those weeks for me. After spending some time away, it has jolted me back. It seemed almost every task I needed to take care of took at least twice as long and sometimes three times as long. Even the simplest thing, which normally would take about ten minutes, took 3 hours.

Well, I'll never have to do that week again! (I hope:)

I know the feeling. When it happens it really can impact your day. Hopefully each time is a learning experience.

How long did it take to write this blog?

Can be very frustrating. We've had a few service outages recently, mercury in retrograde.

I sooo feel you. I was conducting a very difficult trial this week. Evidence was uploaded in a virtual evidence room, which the court clerk controls and everyone has a monito except the person at the podium.. The virtual evidence room is supposed to make it easier for us, but it just slows it all down tremendously.. I had to bring my own computer to the podium, I had to ask the clerk to click on exhibits and turn pages etc. I don't think the technology is doing, yet, what it is supposed to do.

I sometimes ponder when “length” occurs if there is something about the task at hand causing a de facto “lingering,”
