Snow, At Last

When my kids were in nursery school, they were taught to sleep with a spoon under their pillow to bring on a snowy day.  As I write this Monday evening, I have decided to sleep with a spoon under my pillow.

It has been so long since we have seen any real measure of snow, two years or so if the reporting today had been correct.   I miss it.  There is always something so peaceful about watching the snow come down and fill our back yard.

Of course, the ever unpredictable LIRR and other commuting inconveniences are problematic. But, let’s ignore those for now.

I see a big pot of coffee in my tomorrow morning and hunkering down to work remotely with my fuzzy socks on.

I hope you all enjoy the snowy day with me.

Rubberized footwear.

Manhattan business lunch at University Club as planned. Sunny afternoon.

And. Lots of pictures of the snow that didn’t melt yet☃️

I like your "sunny" viewpoint! Ignore those who would like to "dampen" your mood.

Love it! It’s so pretty now. Like you, not thinking of the messy, slippery aftermath. Lol

Enjoying working at home and watching the snow fall. I've missed a good snowfall. Tomorrow may be an adventure though.

Very much a winter wonderland scene out there today. Once a year is about enough for me, but I do like it a whole lot better now that I work from home.

Was supposed to be in court in Queens this morning in person for two cases. Put in the request to be virtual. Requests granted Makes it so easy.

Hope you had a chance to enjoy the snow, Nancy!
