Welcome to Tuesday

I know that my blog topic is a repeat. Corey very eloquently blogged about the importance of voting on Sunday.

But it's Tuesday and as you are all reading this, a critical election is happening all around us. How could I blog about any topic other than the importance of exercising our collective right to vote?

Whether we all agree or disagree on substance (and frankly, I haven’t seen such divisiveness in our country in my lifetime), the gift of the right to vote is universal benefit. Whether Democrat or Republican we all share the privilege. And to choose to not exercise that privilege – particularly in today’s environment – is like turning your back on the bedrock of our country.

Please. Vote. And just let me know here that you have.

Number 52 at 8 a.m. I was surprised that the number was so high. Suggests a very big voter turnout.

Yes, voted!
I've written a few blogs about it myself.

I voted! We were told that it has never been as busy as it was today. AND delighted to say that everyone at the polls was cordial, held doors open, said thank you, etc.

I voted first thing in the morning. I will never forget staying up in 2016 with my daughter on the phone all night waiting for the final count to roll in. The two of us switching channels back and forth to see the reactions of different analysts. The right to vote is so important - and it was fun sharing her first election with her.
