Lifestyle Change
Just back from a check up at the Doctor's office.
A year (or so) ago, he took my blood and reported to me that my cholesterol was dangerously high.
I was astounded, but so it goes. He wanted me to go on Lipitor or some other such thing. I am generally not a fan of prescription drugs. I think they are over prescribed, though I do respect the miracles they can perform in many cases. I didn't get my high cholesterol from a lack of Lipitor in my bloodstream. With the help of my professionally knowledgeable wife, I decided to address the cause through diet and exercise. The first month I dropped my "bad" cholesterol by 60 points. 6-0 points through diet and exercise.
Now that is a miracle.
I continue to improve, and no longer feel deprived of all those cheeseburger, fries and a Coke lunches. Antibiotic and hormone free beef, of course!

Usually. I mean, Shake Shack...
Weight is down, cholesterol is improving and my MD refers to it as a "Lifestyle Change," all because its been continuously improving for over a year.
What kind of "Lifestyle Changes" have you experienced?
Or want to experience?
