HBO has a fascinating interview that features a great conversation and terrific performances. Bruce Springsteen and Howard Stern had a bit of a feud and this session was the first time the two had met.   Howard is able to delve into Bruce’s life with incisive questions.  Bruce is extremely honest about his relationships with his parents, family, and bandmates.  Bruce reveals that his father was both his greatest hero and greatest foe.  Howard relates that he had a similar relationship with his dad.
As a group, we’ve been blogging a lot lately about movies.  Rona has a movie studio in her basement.  During the pandemic, my family room became our Saturday night movie night space.
What, to you, makes a movie good or, even, great?   After Superstorm Sandy, my husband and I refurbished our downstairs den into a movie room. Ever since that time, once a month a group of friends come over, and we bring in dinner and enjoy a movie.
It’s that time again; people plan holiday parties.
I love to laugh. As a matter of fact I still even chuckle at Norman's jokes :).   For some reason, in the middle of doing my daily pushups the other morning, I remembered when I had one of those uncontrollable, belly hurts laughs. In my memory of that moment, it seemed to last a half hour but I'm sure it was a bit shorter. I started laughing and experienced the joy all over again. I'm so grateful for those experiences. They don't happen very often.
Showers require water, lots of water and water is our most taken for granted Natural Resource. So much so, that when I take a shower I turn off the faucet after I’m watered down and before I soap up.
Gotham is amazing. Perhaps I had taken Gotham for granted for a while.
It’s the biggest sporting event in the world.  More people watch and follow the World Cup Tournament than any other sporting activity.  Thirty two countries qualified for this year’s event. The World Cup is almost a hundred years old. It is held every four years and the 1930 initial Cup was won by Uruguay.
