I learned that I am a fan of early voting.   Sometimes it has been difficult to vote with Election Day falling on an inconvenient date or time.  But I always vote. I can’t think of an election I’ve missed as an adult.

Early voting really helps.  With so many choices of dates, times and locations it made voting a breeze this year.  Sure, there was a line but it didn’t take all that long and we bonded with some neighbors along the way.  It was actually nice to see so many people out to cast their ballots early on a Sunday morning.

All of that said, if you haven’t been to your local polling place just yet, I strongly encourage a visit before the end of the day.  It’s what we do.
