I know there is a large contingent that is raving about it. Some how I never got hooked. I’m more into Nordic Noir myself. But sincerely you’re a raver - I’ll give it a try :)

Its the best show ever and the crazy thing is that Julia Garner who plays Ruth is from New York and she had to learn that southern accent. NUTZ!!!

We just started and are halfway through season two. Totally hooked. Love Ruth. Julia also had a role in the Amerikans as “Kimmy “. Another excellent series.

Judy, it starts slow. Kind of like breaking bad. Takes a while to get its hooks into you.

Love Ozark!!! Looking forward to the second half of the season. Although, I know I will definitely miss it when it's finished.
Have you watched "Inventing Anna" on Netflix? Ruth Garner stars as Anna. She plays a completely different character and she's also excellent.

I've been watching it since the first episode. Being a former Compliance Officer I loved the premise of a "financial advisor" breaking bad and becoming a world class money launderer. Jason Bateman is terrific in this role but Ruth constantly steals the show with her sourpuss expression and tough as nails approach to her next rise and fall. If you like this show then any fan may also like the other financial show on Showtime, Billions, now in its sixth season. Like Ozark, the dialogue is fast paced and intelligent, well researched and the twist from season 5 to 6 will hit you with shock and awe.

Victoria and I are completely hooked. We call garner “Kimmy“ because of her role in the Americans. She is awesome.

Lots of evil people keep doing horrific stuff! How you can not watch!

Ozark and Animal Kingdom are my favorite 2 series in the last 5 years. Garner is outstanding, the John Cazale of this time period! Great blog Odey! As an aside, my childhood friend from Rockaway introduced Jason Bateman to his wife Amanda Anka, daughter of Paul.

Her performance is really Transcendent and what ever happens to the others in the show you or no matter what she does that is bad you want her to win survive and succeed. She is just so emotive!!
