It was time for a new Netflix show. “Manifest” had been recommended to us and so we started the binge run last weekend. If you haven’t seen the show, the basic premise is that a plane disappears for five years – and then suddenly reappears as if the passengers had been frozen in time. No time had passed for them, but their loved ones had aged and moved on without them.

I was hooked pretty fast. It’s been interesting to watch the development of the personal stories and histories around each character – tied together with a little bit of science fiction and mystery. Not bad.

Here’s the thing – after we started watching, I read that there were 42 episodes and a final season is in process. Honestly, I’m not sure I will make it that long.

Anyone else have an opinion on this one? What are you binging right now?

I actually started watching it when it was on regular television. Loved the premise and first season and part of the second. Then I lost interest as I didn't like the direction the show was taking. Might watch the final season though to see how they wrap it up.

I'm watching now, The Man in the High castle. The premise is that Japan and Nazi Germany won WWII. I'm really liking it but it's also 4 seasons so it's definitely a committemnt. We just got to the 4th and final season

Not binging on anything, but this one sounds like an Alfred Hitchcock movie.

I started binging general Hospital. I finished the first year. Only 50 more to go

My wife & I are watching the Leftovers (2014) from the writers of Lost, I think. Also Ted Laso to lighten things up a bit.

Manifest is a great show and worth the time. The story unfolds in fascinating ways over the 4 seasons.

We are in the process of finishing Rake on Netflix. Australian TV - short seasons. Just constantly laughing and wondering what crazy thing he'll do next.

I watched it for a long time, I just got tired of of every issue being a crisis. Living in one is enough lol Patiently waiting for new episodes of Ozark

I was just going to say, "So is my son"...welcome to blogging. One of my favorite things about Gotham. I will have to show you some guest blogs that I did. It was fun!

I completely see your point. We're half way through season one and thinking, how many twists and turns this needs to get through 4 seasons.

I keep thinking, how can they possible have enough twists and turns for four seasons?
