What a fun blog! It is a favorite because it's so lighthearted. I like the picture of Joanne, too.
You are my favorite boss!

Favorite blog ever! If I didn’t know you so well, I would really know you now. Everyone should make such a list, and show it to their favorite people!

I agree with your choices on Beatles and Stones. Interesting Japanese word is "Natsukashii" - a sort of positive nostalgia when a memory is triggered. Here is a recent article about it:

Really like this blog. But, I don't want to imitate everyone else by saying it's my favorite. Even though it is. :)

Love this!!! Hardest question I was ever asked is “what is your favorite word?” (This was at NYU in a Core Values coaching class.) Paul’s is “Done.” Mine is “Inspire!” Great blog! (stealing for students personal Branding class and clients.)

Whoa ! Poignant . I’ve been gone for a month . Nice review Derf ! I needed it . I’m just coming back to life . A fractured skull and a broken neck will encourage thoughts like these . No alarms please . I come back as an enhancement of my former self . More astute . Hungrier . With a greater thirst for life and that which drives me . Nathan’s fries . Beef ribs . Yankee baseball . Cold beer on a hot day . Clams on the half shell . Roller skates . Stickball . Home made red sauce . See , there was a point about a month ago when I couldn’t tell you what my own name was . Emergency evac out of the woods by chopper ,unconscious . To a trauma center 50 miles away. So how did I occupy what was left of my mind ? Focus on the spin of the laces . Oh yeah I saw plenty of chin music . I swam . Diane brought me Balogna sandwiches with extra mayo everyday . The dogs came to visit . So now I’m home . Good to be back in the world . Thought I was gone for awhile . Traumatic brain injuries ain’t no fun . But my appetite leads the way ..... Theysay if you’re hungry it’s a good thing . Going back in time is good also . So is Back to the Future . I’m focusing on cheeseburgers for tomorrow . With a coffee milkshake . For breakfast .

Neil, you are one of my dearest friends for a reason. You so appreciate life and speak the truth from your heart! Fred and I spoke and worried about you several times a day when you were out of touch there for a while. But a trinity is three, so take good care of yourself.
Dana Charlton

Welcome back, Neil! I missed you on Facebook and am very glad you have recovered!

Great list, Fred. Ben is right. Such lists express gratitude. You can develop those lists by travel, food, smells, laughter, family & friends, etc. Thanks for reminder to start something I have long desired to do!

Neil,,,Welcome back! Your are one lucky duck. I noticed you were MIA. How did this happen? I made medical history twice so I understand the exhilaration of getting a second chance. Keep radiating!
