Are you watching? With all due respect to Roger (and any other world-class swimmer Gothamites) I’m not sure that I would ever turn on the TV to watch swimming (or archery).
Rona’s blog last week inspired me to write this today. She spoke about getting checked up at her doctor for a skin issue that likely prevented something from getting worse. As I get older, I am very conscious of how the body becomes less resilient and more susceptible to the rigors of age and the environment we live in. I have been fighting blood pressure issues for longer than I can remember. I am pre-diabetic and could stand to lose some weight. Ever since the "Third rate" Watergate burglary, I have reserved judgement and operate on a "Nothing is as it appears" (or as they tell us) basis. Does that make me a cynic? You tell me.
