Here's a new twist for employment and a really cool job title...Spaceport Mixologist.   Interested? You will most likely be working at a small house next to the incredible spaceport in Boca Chica, TX. Elon Musk calls it the Starbase Tiki Bar and it sounds like you would be serving drinks like the Test Pilot or Jet Pilot.  

As I get older I feel less need to take or get credit for an idea I conceive or good deed I do.

Last week, Fred blogged about the talent in their minor league system that has bolstered the Yankees, and Fred, as the regulars are sidelined by positive tests for Covid.Minor league teams are essential to major league teams. The farm system, as it is called, is where talent is “farmed” and sowed for the support and succession of the big league team.

The world of movies has been turned upside down by the advent of Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Disney Plus etc. etc.  People were able to see new and important movies on their new big flat screens.  And, then the  Covid pandemic took the theater film business to its knees.   I am a dedicated big screen fan.  Seeing a movie big makes you feel that you are in for a special experience and in a unique world.  Big people, bigger buildings, gorgeous scenery all created to look spectacular by great filmmakers.  

We are all busy professionals. As a direct result, I have found that as my career progressed, I have become obsessed with lists.

My blog today is a simple one, are you or are you not a sushi person? It has been my experience that most people either love it or hate it.  

It was suggested midweek that this blog cover something that becomes official tomorrow but it makes sense to share that in a subsequent commentary. I prefer to share something that never occurred with me and a baseball game. Last Tuesday, we stayed for the entire game despite the home team – my beloved team – not likely at all to rally to victory.

I'm confused. Do I wear a mask or not?   Friday night I attended what was, I believe, the first Gotham meeting in a very long time. I walked in with a mask on but out of the 35 or so people attending, i was one of three who wore one.   It was outdoors, but personally, I was a bit nervous. I am vaccinated but still carry some fear with me whereever I go. So I wore the mask for most of the time. When I ate I took it off and kept it off till I left.
