Friends, I’m ready for a new book.  Rona’s blog yesterday sent me thinking.
A friend recently posted an interesting question on her Facebook feed. “Do you read books in hardcover? Paperback? E-book? Or Audio?” In one of the comments, she had added, “just answer honestly, no judgments.”
Many in our tribe talk about “The Power of Gotham.”
Workers doing renovations on a Scottish golf course made a surprising discovery -- a 95-year-old message in a bottle buried in a bunker. (Corey...the link to Sting's song please:)   The Golf House Club in Elie built in May 1875 and across the Blackness Bay from Edinburgh, said workers were making improvements to the fairway bunkers on the ninth hole recently when they found a bottle buried in one of the hazards.
Before the Stoned Age, in my college Freshman year I met Stuie and we became fast friends.  I mean Hardy Boys friends!  We had so many incredible adventures which are not appropriate to describe in a Family newspaper (despite the fact that the Statute of Limitations has expired) :) We are original members of the Charter Syracuse University Bad Boys Club (pictured).  How bad?  How about carrying on with my sister behind my back!!!
Every once in a while, I come across a contact on my phone and pause. I stare and consider why the contact is still in my Contacts. Sometimes I don’t even remember the contact and have no idea how the contact got there in the first place.
As you may know, I am a big advocate of watching movies in the theaters whenever possible.  I was shocked to learn in Costa Rica, that my sister-in-law loves to binge watch her shows on her IPAD.  She powered through five seasons of the Spanish thriller, “Money Heist” on her lap while lying on her lounger in the shade.  She explained that she loves the intimacy of the watching experience.  Wearing her ear pods while viewing prevents the world (meaning her husband?) from interfering with her experience.
