It has been very busy in my world and that is not a complaint. But, I did observe recently that I have not had a full on day off in a long time. Truth be told, I can’t really remember when that last day was.
And so, here comes the daydreaming. These days, what would that day look like?
When was the last time you indulged yourself?
While in Italy recently (which itself is an indulgence) my husband and I grew accustomed to drinking cappuccinos at night. As Italians generally do, we would sit together, relax, savor our cappuccinos (mine was always decaf), and just talk about our day.

Today is a special day. Although it is someone’s birthday, everyday is someone’s birthday. Today is special because it’s Opening Day — the Mets in Miami and the Yankees at home.Opening Day is very special. No statistics, hope and optimism reign supreme. Like race horses starting in the gate.
