Emoji is Now A Word in the Dictionary

A friend asked me to look at a text conversation on her phone last week. She thought it was funny and wanted to share it with me.

In looking through the text conversation, I could not help but be amazed at the amount of emoji’s each of them were using to express themselves.

Does anyone use words anymore ?Undecided

Donna Levine wrote i discovered that just because the emoji looks like one thing on your phone it doesn't necessarily look the same on the receiver's end

I hate that people don't actually speak anymore. My son and his wife keep their phones sound off and tell everyone to just text. Soon no one will hear the human voice.
I hope Zoe does the same thing to them - see how they like it! LOL

I look as those images as exclamation points, bolding, italicizing, underlining and ALL CAPS text. They color a conversation. I use them sparingly. Do what works for you.
