Who Makes You Laugh?

You may catch me giggling out loud on the Long Island Railroad. I am in the middle of Billy Crystal’s most recent book, “Still Foolin' 'Em: Where I've Been, Where I'm Going, and Where the Hell Are My Keys?” Billy Crystal makes me laugh out loud.

I think it is partly because he talks about his own experiences, and being from a Jewish family and living on Long Island, I can relate to his humour. In particular, this most recent book has me laughing out loud as it reflects upon his thoughts about aging, something else to which I find myself relating more and more.

Anything really funny in.cluding some emails received from members of our tribe; sometimes the joke really stays inside between sender and receiver but that remains fine.

I loved Billy Crystal's books. I try to laugh as much as possible - it adds years to your life and usually broad smiles or laughs to those around you. My last laughs were on the golf course when I thought I was holding my driver but it was my Treewood.

I listened to that book on tape. It's even funnier on audio. The best comedians are Mel Brooks, Woody Allen, Lenny Bruce, Henny Youngman just to name a few. I grew up with all the comedians in the Catskills. I think that they were much funnier than most of today's, although there are a few outstanding ones.

I love books that have me laughing out loud. It can be interesting when you are laughing out loud in a public place. Sometimes it gets others smiling and laughing. I need to check out this book.

Robin Williams used to make me laugh without even speaking. Such a loss.
