I'm in Chicago for my niece's wedding tonight. Should be a great time. But that's not what this blog is about.

Chicago is a great city. Really clean, lots of good restaurants and places of interest. We checked into the Hyatt Place, a beautiful hotel, in the middle of the city and found our room. I didn't notice it then but when I got ready for bed, there on the nightstand was a pair of ear plugs. That's a first...ear plugs.

Now I'm wondering what the night was going to be like and remembered the fire house just down the block and all the outdoor cafes and bars that we walked past during the day.

Funny thing was a got a relatively good night's sleep (which I think I'm going to need:)

Maybe they know where you are sitting at the reception. :)

They don't understand. You're from NYC, if it's too quiet, it's creepy...

I agree with Cayce. When we used to visit one of my husband's daughters in Ohio, I found it almost impossible to sleep. It was too quiet! :)

If you can sleep in New York, you can sleep anywhere! No ear plugs needed.
