Sounds like a rejuvenating weekend and I like those best.
I enjoy Basketball mornings Volleyball late afternoons Saturday and Sunday at the now renamed Tanenbaum Pool (Swims between and after). Occasionally topped off by a nice concert such as last week's two time Gotham Battle of the Band (2013 first and 2015 2nd) winner OFF THE RECORD and dining on Cedar Beach. BBQs and like gatherings with friends get sprinkled in mostly after the sports parts with exceptions for Shelly (upon request). Some more of both are scheduled in weeks ahead. I had a perfect Long Island weekend last week. Friday night was spent on my friend's boat watching the fireworks. Sitting on the bow of their boat I remember thinking, "This is a perfect Long Island moment."

The next day we went to my brother in law's beach house in the Hamptons. Between sitting and walking on the beach, going out for a wonderful dinner and having a bonfire at night on the beach, there were many perfect moments.

Sounds great.
I spent much of the week end in a hammock reading a great book, a lovely meal or two and some comraderie with friends.
Who could ask for anything more?

Any weekend I spend with my husband, family and friends is perfect for me!

Sounds like a perfect weekend! We spent five days out in East Hampton, just the two of us, and some of my cousins have a place out there. Dinner with them at 1770 House, which is always excellent. Three weeks from now, we're decamping to Buenos Aires for my mother-in-law's 90th birthday celebration and we'll include some side trips, including the Iguazu waterfall (google it-- beyond belief).
