It Finally Happened

I have been writing this blog since August 2006 – over 450 weeks.  You may even recall that last week in my blog I talked about my system of waiting until Monday evenings to write so that my thoughts are current.

Apparently this week my system failed.  I was out at a networking event last night enjoying getting to know some new colleagues, came home late and caught up with my son who was readying for today’s Geometry Common Core Regents, talked to my daughter who had just arrived in India. You know how it goes.

Maybe it is time to revisit my system -- but after 450 or so timely entries, do I get a pass?

I was worried about you this morning when I saw no blog. Was just about to call.

I've got that problem, but with three of them, I've got 50% more than you to worry about. Our youngest is taking the Biology subject SAT on Saturday, and she's been studying like a mad woman! I told her when I took that test, I got an 800 (but then again, my high school biology teacher was one of the best teachers I ever had, and she had a PhD); I'm pretty sure that Caroline will get a perfect score.

I look forward to commenting at 12:01 a.m. when I can. I would pen columns in advance and something set them aside for a later date when something called out for addressing at that time. Several of the "chapters" in "The Public Ought To Know" I wrote because something happened (and I usually noted the genesis in the column).
Nothing per se wrong with a midday posting. But think about posting while riding the LIRR (Most would never know.).
