I had one of “those” nights the other night. We’ve all had them. As time ticks away my eyes wouldn’t close. I saw 2:00 a.m. pass by and then 3:00 pass by. And, as time continued to tick by, my anxiety about being well rested for my early morning court appearance grew steadily.

What do you do when you can’t sleep?

I stay in bed and tell myself my body is getting rest, if not my mind.

I do everything you are not supposed to do, I clean..I watch TV, I work...I re arrange my closets, I text other friends that suffer from insomnia....
Sometimes, I'm smart and I pick up a book and I'm out cold :)

Sometimes I read, sometimes I get up and work. It depends on what's keeping me awake.

Just heard that a glass of milk and banana helps.

I think about how I can "get of the grid" and move to someplace really remote like Alaska. I start putting together a list of items I will need in my head and usually fall asleep before my list is done :)

I'm with Don. I am one of those awful insomniacs that likes company . . . Although sometimes I shop. The middle of then night infomercials are dangerous.
