Princess Summerfall WINTERspring
Are you old enough to have seen early television's iconic children's program "Howdy Doody" (puppet) show? If you are, you may remember Princess Summerfall Winterspring. She was Native American and a good girl.
Of course, her name was a play on our lauded 4 season northern weather.
Well, my favorite number is 3 and I'm advocating a royal name change to Princess Summerfall Spring. For sure, it sounds and feels better.
What ever happened to global warming?

We didn't even have a television set until 1969.. And we only got one because of the moon landing; it was a 15" black and white Zenith tabletop model.

It's Howdy Doody Time ! It's Howdy Doody Time, Bob Smith and Howdy Doo Say Howdy Doo to You." Ta Ra Ra Boom de AY !
I gather you are sick of winter. Frank Sinatra sang in Love and Marriage...."You can't have one without the other." Except in California. Lucky for KW eh ? Oh, by the way Violi is opening the " Granduca" in Austin.....Mr. Bluster( Hmph Harrumph) was my favorite. I have become him. Russ Haber was the original Howdy Doody and still is. But if you think about how long ago it was Fred. I was 3 ( your favorite # ) in 1947. I once sat in "The Peanut Gallery " and still do. Roslyn at that time was much like Doodyville. You could go to Archie's for lunch ? Remember Archie?
Thinking outside the box. Deal with winter. Spring will be so much grander. The princess doesn't need a name change. Oh...And by the way. Al Gore is full of Doody !

Loved that very weird Howdy Doody.
I read that Ed MacMahon was a Clarabell at one point.
Life is short. Enjoy all the puppets.
