Gym Time
I am not spending enough time in the gym. It’s really that simple. With a long work day and worse, a commute on both ends, time to get to the gym during the week just doesn’t seem to be happening.
I know I am not the only one with this problem. We all struggle with not having enough time in the day.
For those of you who have figured out how to add exercise to your busy routine, how have you done it? Any suggestions for me?

Go to your local gym or buddy up. Find out the schedules and classes the gym offers and hours of operations for the machines. I find that I'm able to master my schedule and the gym's classes 80% of the time. I sometimes turn down client meetings for gym appointments especially if the class is only offered 1x a week like Boot Camp on Monday nights. I use that to start my week off. To offset unexpected meetings, I make up for it on alternate days that I might not work out like Thursdays or Saturdays. Or if I can't control the schedule and need to exercise, I make sure to walk to a desk instead of call if its interoffice, take the stairs instead of elevators, walk the city and use the subways in sneakers that I take with me, etc.

As my uncle who is an 82-year-old doctor still practicing full-time says, "You do what you can."
