Recently, my son announced that he was planning to audition for “The Voice” – and win -- so we had better start preparing for a family trip to Los Angeles. That led to a conversation about which judge to choose if he became a contestant -- Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira or Usher?

For the next several days, that’s right days, the conversation in our house revolved around the upcoming competition and debates about which judge would be best. Shakira and Blake were ruled out quickly but there was some good conversation about the pros and cons of Adam and Usher.

In the end, we decided that Adam would be the best coach, and Eric liked that Adam had had the most success with winning teams.
