A new form of security for your car

You may know I drive a manual shift. There are very few on the road today and it certainly puts me squarely into a specific age demographic.

So when I saw this image on the rear windshield of a Subaru WRX, I couldn't help but smile. True that!

I believe that most drivers under 50 yrs old - driving over 80 mph - learned their car skills via video games (and later adaptations of chase scenes).
Always liked shift better. Now I feel shiftless.

Millennial here with a manual transmission car (‘16 Camaro SS). I have the same thought, most will not be able to steal my car if they broke got into it. My first 2 cars were stick, love them. Manuals are becoming extinct sadly.

Had. Manual for all of about 6 months back in 2003 until I realized, in Brooklyn traffic, it was no fun. Sold it to a friend out east who kept it for well over 120,000 miles. It does make it less prone to be stollen.

For focus which had a 2.3 mazda engine and transmission back when they were partly owned by Ford. A great car that handled well.
