I dropped Flo off and was looking for a spot to park in the restaurant’s lot. After waiting patiently behind a car blocking the way, I noticed a spot in a next row.
I made my way and turned into that row, but was blocked by another car. The driver was looking down at his cell phone.
Without looking up, he started forward — toward me.
I beeped and he finally looked up and stopped. I backed up to make room for him to go by. (Hopefully, the empty spot would still be there.)
As he passed me, he rolled down his window. I wasn’t sure what was next —and thought of many horrible possibilities. But I lowered my window.
“My bad.” He said.
“All good,” I answered.

Parking can be a challange and often brings our the worst of people. Glad this was not the case.

Funny how we all brace for different outcomes than expected. Nice to hear common courtesy.
