About 20 years ago, my Dad had started working for me 3 days a week. Although he answered the phones and did some bookkeeping, he wouldn't take a penny for his labor.

On a particularly rough day, he sat down in my office. He asked if I was okay and said he had some advice, which was an unusual thing for him to say. He rarely gave advice.

He said simply this..."If you come into work not expecting problems. you will be very unhappy.  However,  if you approach work knowing there will be problems, you be much happier."

Thanks Dad.

I interpret this as realizing that all problems are opportunities. When clients (or potential clients) would contact us with a Problem, it was often just an Issue that had become convoluted. Someone - or several Someones - had complicated the issue with multiple solutions. My job was to listen and untangle the reputed Problem into strings of Solutions.

Excellent advice as "managing expectations" reduces stress, bravo!
