Tis the Season

We are headed towards those few weeks a year when the world actually does slow down.  This year, we have vowed to really take advantage of at least a few days.

Don’t get angry with me – but I am actually hoping for just a little snow.

Not enough to shut things down or interfere with travel.  But just enough to enjoy that feeling opening my front door and seeing the white flurries slowly taking up the street in front of my house.  And knowing, that the rest of my day is filled with hot chocolate and movies.  Sounds pretty great, right?

Let’s see whether (weather) my wish will come true!

I am already in the mode of allowing the slow down to take over! A friend recently told me that we should adopt how animals enter the winter with the change of sunlight....hibernate. Take more time to rest and focus on personal health before getting back at in 2025. I would like to see a dusting of snow blanketing the sidewalks or Central Park lawns with a flurry of snow flakes to set the tone for the season.
