Another Hat Story

It always amazes me when a hat I’m
wearing triggers a conversation.
Last Sunday, I was wearing my Baltimore Ravens hat, given to me by a dear friend who is a Ravens fan and believes that my wearing the hat has a positive impact on the team’s performance.
We were in Brooklyn at a burger joint. The Ravens were on TV and the hat was on my head. Unfortunately, it seems that the Ravens were not aware of their lucky hat being worn in Brooklyn.
As I walked to the back of the restaurant, a couple’s smile caught my eye as they gestured a tip of the hat in recognition of the Ravens.
Even if the luck of the hat wears off, I’ll wear the hat for the conversations and smiles.

I never wear hats, it just feels too hot most of the time. But it is a way to advertise for sure.

I'll wear hats, but I don't think I've ever worn one of a team that I don't actively root for.
