We had decided to replace more Post caps on the fence around my deck.  Some of the original caps cracked and we liked the replacements our "painting (and more) contractor" installed.  I found them on line at one of my go to hardware stores but for some reason the transaction was not going through; they insisted the issue was with my credit card; the credit card vendor said no such thing.

So I try another home improvement store and I find not only the replacement Beveled Post Sleeve Caps we wanted but also a White Vinyl Solar Post Cap.  I thought two Solar Post Caps would work fine at the top of the stairs to the deck.  Shelly agreed.  I ordered the two plus the Beveled ones.

I installed the caps yesterday.  It makes we wonder why we never got the nice looking caps when we installed the new fence.  I knew I wanted the new caps when we dined with friends from Rockland and the rear entrance to the restaurant had deck with those nicer looking caps. we like the new look.

It never ceases to amaze how a little change can make something seem totally new.
