In the course of making a new business acquaintance, I was asked to describe my practice philosophy.    What a great question, I thought to myself. 

I don’t recall having ever been asked that question in a networking context. The answer, I quickly concluded, revealed more about me professionally than my answer to the standard, “what do you do?”  We launched into an entire conversation around my answer, which focused on the importance of understanding company culture.

How would you answer that question?
