Does everyone want or need feedback?

I've been buying fresh bread from a local Italian bakery in Glen Cove for quite some time. The staff has usually been pleasant, saying the right things but often in a tone that indicates they work hard, which they do. I'm always nice to them and always leave a tip.

Last weekend I stopped by to get some fresh bread and was met with a very rude comment when I asked if could buy a loaf of the cheese bread they had displayed. I was shocked at the tone and lack of smile. It bothered me so much that I won't be shopping there anymore.

The question I have been wrestling with is whether or not I should let them know what happened or let it go.

Letting them know would be the Saintly thing to do and it won't be a rocky exchange :)

Definetly give feedback. There is no room for improvement If you don't. Their response may be better than you predict and get you back to a place you have frequented for a long time, while correcting a bad behavior from continuing.

I have debated this in my head as well. The question, I guess for you, will you miss having the bread?

Letting them know can be therapeutic for both parties as you will be fully self expressed!

If a venue fails to justify my continued patronage I easily move on.
