Are you watching?
With all due respect to Roger (and any other world-class swimmer Gothamites) I’m not sure that I would ever turn on the TV to watch swimming (or archery). But here we are for the every four year spectacular — the Olympics.
With all the human interest and a small dose of national pride, I watch and, sometimes, cheer.

I have not put on any of the Olympics this year. I have just been too busy with work and not much interest.

Seeing how antisemitism and anti-Israel actions are allowed there is nauseating. Stopped watching.

Last year I was only into it because of the "Financial Wave" newspaper column about (may share as a promo) the "financial hardships" aspect of the athletes who have to spend money they don't have on coaches and nutritionists and sports psychologists... Many of them go broke (literally) for a chance to reach their dreams. They even have to pay tax on a portion of the medal they receive. This year I am dvr'ing certain events as a fan and not as a columnist. GO USA!!!!
