One special benefit of Sunday blogging: I get to wish all the mom’s a special Happy Mother’s Day. 

Yesterday, I spent time with mom; my brother Richy visits her today. Our son and his wife hosts his mom and I today; our daughter also will be there too (she’s arranged the food.).

What I am not able to do this year is celebrate the mom Richy and I share with our brother Robby. Rob’s mom, step-mom to Richy and this blogger, 2^nd wife to our late dad, passed away last month while Rob in from Portland, Oregon; we hold a memorial service at the end of next month. Marisa posted a beautiful tribute to Jean following her loss.

So once again on this Mother’s Day – a special benefit of blogging on Sundays, I celebrate the mom still in our lives and the one we recently lost, and thank my wonderful and beautiful wife, Shelly (pictured with mom during a Delray visit back in the day), the mom of Jonathan and Marisa for being who she is.
