Satisfaction

The Stones famously sang (I can't get no) Satisfaction.

Well, respectfully, I disagree.

Satisfaction is defined as the fulfillment of one's wishes, expectations or needs. I, for one, feel that my striving, dreaming, working and doing have pretty much achieved it by.

As someone once said "You get what you pay for"!

How about you?

Agreed! Hard work pays off.

“By the blood, sweat, and tears of me” as Fani said.
Shelley Simpson

Not sure that some opus ever stop striving, dreaming, working and doing; and that does not indicate a lack of satisfaction. Being satisfied can tamp down potential.

I like Devo''s version of the song. Personally I'm never satisfied . Satisfaction can be disguised as mediocrity. Therefore I always strive to do a little better so if I come up short; I'm still ahead of the pack.

Your form of satisfaction is admirable. It doesn’t stop you from always striving and challenging yourself. I would call your definition of satisfaction- as gratitude for living your best life.
Daniel Schwartz

The drive for satisfaction is what keeps us going. If it is reached, it is short lived and you reach for another level. Human trait, I believe.
Kelly Welles

Humankind is hardwired for satisfaction. It's what makes us human. It's what motivated our forebears to move out of caves. It's what drives the stock market and sends rockets to Mars and beyond. "Laziness may appear attractive. But work gives satisfaction." Anne Frank
Paula Oleska

"You get what you pay for" - disagree! I find a lot of free things satisfying. Especially nature.
Dana Charlton

Oh, I remember striving to satisfy you when I worked for you ~ it was not so easy but I wouldn't have traded it for the world! Everyone knew you were a tough boss but that's what gave me satisfaction and why I stayed on for 48 years!

Where does the search for Satisfaction and the search for Significance meet?
