2014

It's the new year and time for Magical Mitch's predictions for 2014. Since 2007 your trusty soothsayer has been making predictions with a pretty good track record. I'm 13 for 22. That's like batting .590...In the MLB I'd be earning at least 50 million a year.

But first, let's review...

In 2007 I was 1 for 7. (my rookie year:)
For 2008 I was a perfect 1 for 1 (gutsy picking one but it was spot on)
In 2009 I was 3 for 5
For 2010 I was 2 for 3
In 2011 I was 3 for 3!!!
For 2012 I was also 3 for 3!!!
In 2013 I took a break, the launch of the new website took all my attention

Now for 2014...(drum roll please)

1. Gotham will break the 1,000 member mark by years end
2. The Dow will go over 17,000
3. Kim Il-sung will do something really dumb

What do you think will happen in 2014?

I enjoy reading predictions but not my thing to make them as year's end or start. I enjoy reading others and making my own assessments on ultimate likelihoods. No doubt, I will find some music I like and share it. In fact because of Fred's post on Elvis, I found an amazing concert - http://tiny.cc/9c7k9w - I am viewing now via my AppleTV on a large screen as i type this comment.

I am less of a prediction maker and more of a resolution breaker. That being said, this year my aim is to proactively create moments of awe. I am looking forward to a year of more creativity, more travel, more amazing clients and projects and more fun!
