Sleepless in Sea Cliff

Categories
Lifestyle

Sometimes sleep comes easy and sometimes not. This night I'm up writing this blog and it's in the wee hours of the AM. My mind keep running...clients...projects...relationships...

It's tough to shut off. I turn the TV on and hope that watching the machines that make pencils put me to sleep. The experts say that no matter what time you go to sleep you should wake up at the same time every day otherwise your circadian rythm gets messed up. I certainly wouldn't want that. Who knows what would happen if my circadian rythm was off beat.

Do you experience nights like these? What do you do?

I understand. Watching TV or reading some times helps me get to sleep/ However, most of the time my mind either keeps me awake so I can't fall asleep, or I fall asleep but wake up and my mind is off and running again. It's very rare that I sleep through the night. Hopefully, this will change some day.

When you have energy I find it hardest to turn in. Sometimes I burn that midnight oil. I try not to rely on any alarm, sometimes sunlight. My office is a comfy place.

When I can't sleep i look things up on the internet.

Lately all the time...as much as it pains me it is the only time for complete silence.
Love the pic, BTW.
I'm with you Corey never relied on an alarm clock.
Funny how you can lay awake all night long mind turning, yet the best ideas still happen in the shower!

Waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to go back to sleep used to torture me. There are no good thoughts at 3 am, only worries. I go downstairs on the couch and try to read, that usually works and rhythm is restored.

If you notice the typo in my blog from last week, I sometimes burn those candles as well. Sometimes a most creative window.
