It's An Adventure!

Categories
Lifestyle

Coping is a most necessary skill/state of mind. Especially in these 2020 “Strange Days Indeed.”

While all around me others are depressed and hang dog, I react to difficult situations by thinking and exclaiming (to the chagrin of some in earshot) “It’s an adventure!”

That’s my approach and I really mean it and I think it works.

Try it you might like it!

I’ll try it....it’s at least as good as anything else in these strange times

I totally agree - only way to stay sane and happy

Great attitude! There is little we can do to change major events, so just enjoy the ride! You get what you get and you don’t get upset.... as I told my children.

We’ve been driving around a lot...Hamptons, Montauk, Wine Country, Catskills and Bear Mountain. Hiking, dining outside. We sometimes get caught in traffic but rarely get impatient anymore. There are no more deadlines, we’re never late and always “get there” eventually. The World May have stopped but we keep going. The Drive is now part of the Adventure. No rush. Smell the roses. The memories created now with family and your inner circle will be everlasting. We will look at the photos and instantly know...the year was 2020; a blessing in disguise.

I agree. So many silver linings if you roll with it!

Terrific pos! It’s more than an adventure. It’s an invitation to ask yourself how you can make the most of this for yourself an others. For me...it’s an extended snow day with occasional long weekends out east. For others it’s daily FB posts, producing virtual fundraisers, reinventing one’s business, writing that book, blogging with friends, cooking. The possibilities are endless.
