Make money in bed

Here's some news you may like to hear...NASA will pay you $160 a day to lay in bed. I'm not kidding.

NASA is seeking volunteers for Spaceflight Simulation Studies by using long-term bed rest to simulate the effects of weghtlessness on the human body. It seems they are getting ready to send astronauts back into space...or maybe pillownauts.

If you are forutnate to be chosen (you must be a nonsmoker, age 25 to 55 and in good health), you'll stay in a NASA research facility at the University of Texas in Galveston for 41 to 119 days. Not my favorite place in the world but there's no site seeing on this adventure.

So who's ready to lay down for our space program? Are you? If so...here's the application and their website. Good luck and may the rest be with you.

Do you get to bring your own pillow?

If I were the right age, could listen to my music, use my mac and iPhone....

rats!. Another adventure passed by. Apparently NASA knows young people sleep late and old folks just can't sleep.

I've been in Galveston. Actually a cool place. Being paid for sleeping??? Not a bad gig.

Given the last few weeks/months I've had, this sounds like a good idea; but I doubt I'd be able to turn off and actually sleep.

Trouble is, after lying in bed all that time, your muscles and body tone would turn to mush. However making money in bed (that way) sounds pretty good to me! How do you get in the study?
