I have previously blogged about my conversion from a “procrastination queen” to an “early doer.” In the past, I thrived on completing my work immediately prior to its due date. Now, at work, I generally complete my tasks several days early. And as Mitch can attest, I usually have my blogs posted by Saturday morning or, at the latest, Sunday morning.

Last weekend, I was not able to write or post a blog until early Sunday evening because we were busy bringing my two youngest children to college. In the past, posting a blog at the last minute, would not have concerned me. Last Sunday, however, I was filled with anxiety until I wrote and posted the blog at about 8:00 in the evening. After posting my blog, I sat down to finally relax and watch the Video Music Awards. Then Miley Cyrus twerked and I realized that, perhaps, my conversion to “early doer” may not have been a great idea after all.
